The Chartered Engineer (Singapore) programme was first rolled out in the sectors of engineering in Aerospace, Chemical & Process, Environmental & Water, Marine and Systems engineering at the WES 2013 Opening Ceremony.
Through the Chartered Engineer (Singapore) programme, the IES aims to raise engineering standards in Singapore by adding value to engineers, employers, government, business and society.
A Chartered Engineer of IES is someone who has shown commitment to engineering profession and has attained, through peer review system, an internationally recognised and respected mark of competence in his or her area of Practice.
